Materials Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Materials Engineer to join our team as an Academic Advisor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing academic guidance to students, helping them navigate their educational journey, and ensuring they meet their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic advising to students, including helping them choose courses, plan their academic path, and achieve their academic goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, faculty, and staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum changes, program requirements, and university policies to provide accurate and timely advice to students.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless student experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or a related field.
- 1 year of experience in academic advising or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Materials Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with student information systems and software.
- Knowledge of FERPA regulations and student data privacy.
