Position Summary

We are looking for Experienced Full-Time Production Machine Operators who can perform various tasks to add value by understanding business requirements while operating and maintaining machinery to achieve production targets, ensure customer satisfaction, and uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards. This role involves the setup and operation of machines within the assigned department, which may include both computer-controlled and mechanically operated equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery, ensuring accurate and efficient setups, quality checks, and basic troubleshooting to optimize machine performance.
  • Process materials through machines according to established specifications.
  • Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance to ensure a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Complete assigned job duties and work orders as per production requirements; assist fellow team members/operators as needed.
  • Regularly test machine operations to ensure functionality.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in the corrugated manufacturing sector.
  • Prior machine operator experience is advantageous; strong familiarity with manufacturing machinery is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment; willingness to learn multiple roles while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds; standing and continuous lifting are integral to the role.
  • Competence in following detailed instructions, including reading measuring tools, blueprints, and production schematics.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in reading measuring instruments are necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug screening.

Primary Duties:

  • Execute precise and efficient machine setups.
  • Monitor production quality consistently.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting to maintain optimal machine operation.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Fulfill all work orders as dictated by production demands.
  • Support fellow team members/operators as necessary.
