Veterinary ICU Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our ICU team at Veritas Veterinary Partners. As a Veterinary Technician in our ICU, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, performing laboratory tests, and maintaining accurate treatment records.
- Collaborate with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for critically ill patients.
- Assist with surgeries and other sedated procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for their pets.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.
- 2+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician in an ICU or emergency setting.
- Strong understanding of veterinary anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift, including nights and weekends.
