Veterinary ICU Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our critical care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting samples, placing IV catheters, preparing IV fluids and additives, and obtaining arterial blood gas samples
- Calculating and administering medication, fluid additives, and Continuous Rate Infusions (CRIs)
- Obtaining and reporting vital signs, monitoring telemetry, and caring for oxygen-dependent patients
- Placement and maintenance of nasogastric tubes, nasal cannulas, and central venous catheters
- Prioritizing patient hourly treatments, delegating tasks, and triaging critical patients
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a veterinary hospital setting, with 2 years of experience in ECC required
- RVT preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commit to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community
