Vaco, a leading provider of professional staffing and consulting services, is seeking a skilled Pricing Manager to join its team. As a Pricing Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing pricing strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Execute Pricing Strategies: Lead the development and execution of effective pricing strategies and processes, including providing price guidance for customer proposals and product lines.
- Competitor Pricing Analysis: Collect and analyze competitor pricing and market trends to inform strategy and drive profitability.
- Price Adjustment and Realization: Establish and manage processes for periodic price adjustments as dictated by market trends, product costs, and contractual requirements, and drive price realization.
- Deal Desk Collaboration: Establish a deal desk to collaborate with the sales team on pricing strategies for key accounts and contracts.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and manage all relevant data and analytics to provide regular reporting on price performance, trends, and variances.
- Win/Loss Analysis and Forecasting: Develop processes to analyze and forecast win/loss projections as well as revenue and margin variations.
- Pricing Strategy Recommendations: Analyze pricing actions and outcomes, and provide recommendations for our pricing strategy to drive ongoing growth and margin enhancement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a financial-related discipline, MBA preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong skills in programs such as Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI, with the ability to manage and interpret large amounts of data.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- GAAP Accounting Knowledge: Understands principles of GAAP accounting and performing reconciliations.
