Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Procurement Specialist to join our team at Daifuku. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ordering and provisioning spare parts, materials, and supplies used in our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct procurement activities in compliance with company and customer corporate policies.
  • Evaluate vendors for best cost and service.
  • Organize, maintain, and evaluate appropriate inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock events.
  • Track all parts and materials issued or removed from stock to maintain inventory levels and correctly identify and record associated financial information.
  • Maintain material and parts inventory information, including databases and records.
  • Conduct periodic inventories and audits of usage in compliance with documentation procedures and requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct in relationships with suppliers.
  • Perform quality inspections on every item purchased and document non-conformities.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Company's insurance policy.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in parts procurement and inventory control
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years' experience in parts procurement and inventory control, excellent computer skills, knowledge of technical or automotive related parts, familiarity with ISO standards and practices
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in an office environment, which may sometimes be located in a shop area. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to changing priorities.
