Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of professionals in the patient accounts-3rd party department
  • Ensure timely and compliant submission of claims
  • Review denials and implement follow-up processes
  • Develop and implement new procedures as needed
  • Work closely with IT and ancillary departments to improve revenue cycle performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience required
  • Minimum five years' experience in information systems within a financial environment required
  • Experience in a healthcare financial environment, including knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems preferred
  • Familiarity with CMS compliance regulations, CCI edits, NCDs preferred
