Job Summary

MPW is seeking a skilled Hydro Excavation Laborer to join our team. As a Hydro Excavation Laborer, you will assist the operator on the job site, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of hydro excavation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the operator in navigating the job site, identifying utility markings, and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Perform physical labor, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively with customers and office staff to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in simple mechanical tasks and maintain a high level of safety awareness.
  • Read and interpret tape measures and perform basic math calculations as needed.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary, with limited travel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must maintain a valid Medical Card.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hydro excavation or a related field.
  • Knowledge of simple mechanics and ability to perform basic repairs.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
