Tax Senior Associate, SALT M&A Expert

At KPMG, we're committed to empowering our professionals to excel in their careers. As a Senior Associate in our State and Local Tax (SALT) M&A practice, you'll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of experts who share your passion for tax services.
Key Responsibilities:- Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, and mergers and acquisitions activities.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver due diligence and tax structuring services, communicating findings and opportunities to clients.
- Liaise with finance and accounting departments to gather pertinent facts for tax risk analysis.
- Assist clients with post-acquisition integration activities for state and local taxes.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop staff.
- A minimum of three years of experience in tax research and technical advice on multi-state tax issues.
- Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, or Master's in Taxation from an accredited college/university.
- Knowledge of corporate tax matters in various industries.
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams in a high-energy team environment.
- Excellent writing, communication, and tax research skills.
