We are seeking a highly experienced CPA with a strong tax background to join our team as a Senior Tax Professional. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of professionals, reviewing complex tax returns, and developing/mentoring staff.
Our ideal candidate will have at least five years of accounting and tax experience, with a strong understanding of tax planning, tax research, and IRS representation. You will work closely with our entrepreneurial clients, providing expert advice on tax matters and ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
As a Senior Tax Professional, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing accounting working papers and tax returns
- Supervising accounting and tax staff, including scheduling, workflow, and firm logistics
- Providing tax planning, tax research, and IRS representation services
- Working on complex tax projects, including federal, Florida, multi-state, consolidated, affiliated, and international tax matters
- Reporting directly to and working with firm leadership
