Job Overview

Service Advisor – Automotive

We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor who excels in delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will warmly welcome clients, manage appointment scheduling, and effectively communicate between customers and service technicians. If you possess the ability to ensure customers feel valued and assured that their needs are addressed, this position may be an excellent fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promptly and courteously greet customers in the service department—maintaining a positive attitude is crucial
  • Actively listen to customer concerns and accurately convey repair requirements to technicians
  • Promote additional services through respectful and honest communication
  • Provide precise estimates for repairs and maintenance
  • Follow established protocols for vehicle care and operation
  • Maintain communication with customers regarding the status of their repairs
  • Manage and sell extended warranty options
  • Ensure quality control of repairs and confirm completion of all tasks
  • Notify customers when their vehicles are ready for collection
  • Discuss repairs and associated costs clearly with customers
  • Address minor customer issues and complaints
  • Keep the Service Manager updated on any challenges or potential issues
  • Achieve and maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores in line with dealership standards
