Reproductive Healthcare Clinician

Position Summary
This role offers a flexible work schedule, with options for 4 or 5-day work weeks. As part of the medical services team, you will provide comprehensive reproductive and prenatal healthcare to patients, adhering to Planned Parenthood's protocols and operational procedures as directed by the Health Center Manager.
Essential Functions
- Conduct thorough health history assessments, encompassing obstetric, gynecologic, contraceptive, medical, surgical, sexual, family, and psychosocial histories. Accurately document findings in patient records.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations with a focus on the reproductive system, including breast exams, pelvic examinations, cancer screening tests, diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and other specialized procedures as outlined by medical policy. Maintain an average of 3.5 patient encounters per hour.
- Provide direct medical care to patients for core services, including prenatal care, family planning, surgical abortion, medication abortion, and colposcopy, after receiving appropriate observation and approval.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve customer-focused goals and ensure patient satisfaction.
- Provide referrals and facilitate follow-up care for patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies as indicated and permitted by affiliate medical protocols.
- Consult with senior leadership, including the Chief Medical Director, President & CEO, and Sr. Vice President, Patient Services & Operations, to ensure compliance with established standards and guidelines.
- Deliver relevant health education, covering topics such as family planning, nutrition, sexual counseling, and principles of health promotion and maintenance.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages open communication, feedback, and continuous improvement. Promote a culture of teamwork and shared responsibility.
