About the Role

As a Nursing Home Administrator, you will be the strategic driver of business excellence, staff excellence, clinical excellence, and customer excellence at our nursing center. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring nursing center financial reports and implementing corrective action as required.
  • Leading, guiding, and directing the nursing center department heads who are direct reports.
  • Promoting and representing the nursing center in the community to ensure favorable public relations.
  • Creating an environment where employees are highly engaged, abide by the Genesis core values, and are focused on providing the highest level of care and compassion to patients/residents.
  • Ensuring regulatory and policy compliance within the nursing center.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Licensure according to state regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative management techniques, supervisory practices, procedures, and principles
  • Working knowledge of all government regulations impacting Nursing Centers
  • On-call availability
