  • Report any discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the department manager.
  • Exhibit a positive demeanor.
  • Stay updated on current, upcoming, seasonal, and special promotions.
  • Ensure proper temperature levels in cases and coolers, maintaining temperature logs.
  • Support safety initiatives by adhering to safety protocols and identifying unsafe conditions to notify management.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and reporting any repair needs to the appropriate department or store manager.
  • Notify management of any accidents involving customers or employees.
  • Report all safety concerns or illegal activities, including theft or fraud.
  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications

Minimum
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic math proficiency.
Desired
  • Experience in Beer/Wine/Liquor.
  • Knowledge of both imported and domestic varieties, including flavor profiles and production methods.
  • Awareness of industry trends in specialty wines and beers relevant to customer preferences.
  • Retail experience.
  • Proficiency in a second language, including speaking, reading, and/or writing.
