Job Description

gpac, a recruitment company with over 30 years of experience, is pleased to partner with a top-ranked DC firm in need of a Senior Associate Employment Attorney. This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer looking for new challenges and to grow professionally.

The Senior Associate Employment Attorney will be responsible for representing employers in matters involving OSHA, Employment Regulations, and compliance. This position will be the primary liaison with clients and provide legal advice on labor relations, corporate legal compliance, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities:
  • Represent employers in OSHA, Employment Regulations, and compliance matters in court or agency hearings
  • Provide legal advice and guidance on employment laws, regulations, and compliance
  • Review and interpret HR policies, laws, and regulations
  • Negotiate settlements when necessary

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Indepth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance
  • Ability to prepare and present oral and written arguments in court and agency hearings
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and mediation skills
  • Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

This Senior Associate Employment Attorney position comes with a competitive salary of $145,000 - $165,000, as well as benefits such as no formal billable hours minimum, health insurance, PTO, and 401k.
