POSITION SUMMARY
  • Conducts therapeutic radiation treatment procedures.
    Engages in additional responsibilities such as educating patients, confirming billing details, and managing on-site operations.
    Additionally, executes specialized radiographic tasks in alignment with departmental and organizational guidelines.
    Completes assigned shifts and participates in on-call duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Associate's Degree: Radiation Therapy
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Entry Level
CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T) as a Radiation Therapist.
    Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification from recognized organizations or the ability to obtain certification within 6 weeks of employment.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Administers the prescribed course of radiotherapy using linear accelerators and simulators.
    Assesses, suggests, and executes innovative treatment methodologies.
    Informs patients regarding therapy processes and potential side effects.
    Contributes to treatment documentation and Quality Assurance evaluations.
