Job Summary:

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Froedtert South, you will operate scanning and auxiliary equipment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures. Under the supervision of a Radiologist, you will work in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Position counter-balanced cameras with an approximate weight of 2000 pounds
• Troubleshoot nuclear medicine equipment
• Administer medications in a timely manner, safely and in accordance with policy and procedure
• Maintain standards of general quality control for all nuclear medicine films

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology preferred
• Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMT) certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) certification
• Working knowledge of clerical procedures as they relate to scheduling, record maintenance and patient preparations
