About the Role

Crestwood Medical Center is seeking a skilled HIM Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely billing of patient claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate analysis of daily unbilled accounts and communicate required actions to responsible areas for accurate coding and billing of claims.
  • Supervise the HIM Unbilled data and oversee the daily monitoring and reporting of total unbilled accounts.
  • Collaborate with the AR team to identify and resolve charge and coding denials/rejections, and work closely with financial auditors and SSC Denials Team.
  • Ensure timely and successful communication with centralized coding team and manager regarding bill errors and coding denials.
  • Collaborate with the HIM Director and other hospital departments to ensure throughput of the revenue cycle, communicating charge-related issues with unbilled and corporate/facility audits.
Requirements

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Onsite work may be required at times, and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the HIM Operations team as needed.

This position is considered hybrid and reports to the HIM Director.
