Position Overview

Barton & Gray Mariners Club is at the forefront of luxury yachting, operating a distinguished fleet of over 80 Hinckley and bespoke vessels for our esteemed members across various locations. We are currently expanding our service team in Connecticut and are in search of a skilled Yacht Maintenance Specialist to join our Greenwich operations. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in yacht and marine repairs, with the capability to execute mechanical, electrical, and outfitting repairs, along with preventative maintenance on our fleet of power boats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct repairs on B&G fleet vessels at various harbors.
  • Ensure the service support vehicle is kept clean and organized.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts for the service vehicle.
  • Respond to incoming service inquiries.
  • Uphold maintenance standards for B&G vessels in accordance with USCG T-Boat regulations.
  • Track expenses for all Parts/Materials purchases made using the Corporate Credit Card.
  • Foster positive working relationships with Captains and other support personnel.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Marine Technician.
  • Completion of a marine trade school or possession of Engine certification.
  • Strong preference for knowledge of Hinckley & jet drive yachts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Must be an organized, self-motivated individual capable of working independently.
  • Availability for weekend on-call duties.
  • Possession of a valid, unencumbered driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
