The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) supports MaineHealth Care at Home's mission, vision, and values by demonstrating excellence, competence, collaboration, innovation, respect, patient and family-centered care, commitment to our community, and accountability. This role involves carrying out technical nursing skills under the guidance of a registered professional nurse, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a home setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Graduate of a school accredited by the NLN to prepare practical (vocational) nurses.
- State of Maine licensure as a Practical Nurse, with current, valid driver's license and liability insurance.
- One year of experience in an acute care hospital or skilled nursing facility, with certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
