Position Overview

Salary: $10-$15 per hour

About Us: At Water Lily Learning Center, we are dedicated to providing enriching and engaging educational experiences for young children. We are seeking passionate Early Childhood Professionals to join our childcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engaging learning activities in safe and age-appropriate environments.
  • Collaborate with center staff and leadership to meet objectives related to enrollment and accreditation.
  • Ensure the daily care and safety of every child by adhering to licensing regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience in a licensed childcare facility is strongly preferred.
  • Must meet local childcare regulatory agency requirements, including background checks.
  • Prior experience in a licensed early childhood program, specifically with infants and toddlers.
  • Understanding of the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. for child handling and safety purposes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a co-teaching environment.

Primary Duties:

  • Engage in and support quality standards as defined by Water Lily Learning Center.
  • Provide coverage and support across various classrooms as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Participate actively in all daycare activities with children.
  • Assist in planning and preparing materials for daily activities.
  • Support the Lead Teacher in documenting observations and assessments to enhance lesson planning.
  • Complete assigned tasks promptly to ensure smooth program operations.
  • Utilize positive discipline techniques to foster children's growth and resilience.
  • Adhere to the vision, mission, and ethical standards of Water Lily Learning Center.
  • Maintain required training hours and educational credentials for employment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support child development.
