Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Assistant Director of Development is responsible for soliciting and securing philanthropic gifts that enable the Tickle College of Engineering to provide world-class educational and research programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of new prospects through an active schedule of identification, assessment, cultivation, solicitation, negotiation, and stewardship.
  • Build relationships among prospective donors, alumni, and volunteers to support programs and priorities.
  • Negotiate and close philanthropic gifts with an emphasis on major gifts.
  • Lead efforts to identify, retain, and reactivate leadership annual giving and midlevel giving donors.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 3+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 1+ years of experience in development, sales, marketing, a higher education environment, or a related field.
