Job Summary

As a key member of our team, the Team Lead - Wine Sales will be responsible for directing the daily operations of the Tasting Room, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, wine sales, customer relations, facility management, inventory management, team management, financial accountability, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all Customer Service aspects relating to tasting room operations, ensuring employees effectively and appropriately carry out the company's customer service policies and procedures.
  • General upkeep of the tasting room, including maintenance of equipment, facility, and grounds using a preventative maintenance program.
  • Assist in leading all aspects of Team Member Management, including training, direct team members to complete tasks, and creating a positive work environment.
  • Responsible for the Financial Results of the tasting room, including managing store operation procedures, inventory levels, payroll, money handling, cash control procedures, and tracking and reporting of tasting room expenditures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of retail experience.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Exceptional team building capability.
  • Basic mathematical and accounting skills.
  • Computer literacy, including experience with a POS system/Square.
Work Schedule

This position requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and at other locations as needed.
