POSITION SUMMARY
Oversees the management of all facets of software application development for both legacy systems and innovative software solutions. Guides, mentors, and leads teams responsible for application development in alignment with BMI's Enterprise Application delivery strategy and Enterprise Architecture.

LOCATION
This position is based in Nashville, TN, with a regular hybrid work schedule. Team members are generally expected to work in the office three days a week, with future transitions monitored closely for employee safety.

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
  • Champions and advocates for the initiatives and technologies employed by BMI.
  • Directs projects, leads technical project teams, and coordinates project activities with external stakeholders.
  • Collects and evaluates requirements to formulate project plans, prepares project scopes as necessary, and contributes to technical designs or solutions.
  • Facilitates installation and implementation tasks as required.
  • Monitors resource allocation, addresses project issues, and resolves scheduling or resource conflicts.
  • Provides comprehensive pre and post-project summaries highlighting key outcomes.
  • Analyzes project statistics and reports to enhance delivery, manage project schedules, and control budget expenditures.
  • Manages the business impact and expectations related to project work.
  • Oversees multiple concurrent projects and timelines.
  • Maintains regular attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports BMI's core values and fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education: A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of ten years in Enterprise Application development with substantial project leadership experience.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Expertise in C# or Java programming languages.
  • Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to establish constructive and informative relationships with employees, management, and vendors.
  • Capable of reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business publications, professional journals, and technical manuals.
  • Skilled in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
  • Adept at effectively presenting information and responding to inquiries from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Proficient in anticipating and resolving problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.

SALARY RANGE
The specific base salary offered to a successful applicant will be determined based on individual qualifications, skills, experience, and education. The pay range is subject to change based on various internal and external factors. The position may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses.
