About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO), you will work closely with our customers to design and implement innovative cloud solutions that meet their complex business needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and guidance to our customers, helping them to advance their adoption of AWS products and services. You will collaborate with our specialist, sales, marketing, and product teams to ideate and develop solutions that address our customers' most challenging business problems.

As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will lead architectural reviews and workshops to advance their technical objectives. You will also act as a thought leader, sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who is passionate about cloud computing and has a strong background in software development, architecture, and technical consulting. If you have a proven track record of successful technical consulting and architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises, we want to hear from you.

What We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of experience in design, implementation, and consulting of distributed applications
  • 5+ years of experience in managing technical, customer-facing resources
  • 5+ years of experience in building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions or experience with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP or similar CCaaS technology
  • Experience developing solutions and passion for hands-on experience with scripting/coding (e.g. Python, Java, C#, .NET, or similar)
  • History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
  • Familiarity with common enterprise services
  • Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise
  • Computer Science/ relevant degree and/or experience highly desired
