Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SSMO Supervisor to join our team at V2X. As a key member of our global supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Supply Subsistence Management Office (SSMO). This includes ensuring effective accountability of all assigned property, managing supply and services, and maintaining operational rations and bottled water stocks for contingencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management: Develop and implement comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions in supply subsistence management.
  • Field Feeding and Operational Ration Programs: Manage ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and conducting required inventories of operational rations, supplements, ice, and bottled water.
  • Supply and Services Management: Ensure effective accountability of all assigned property, including monitoring unit field accounts and maintaining operational rations and bottled water stocks for contingencies.
  • Analytical Techniques and Research: Utilize analytical techniques and causative research skills to identify areas of needed emphasis to recommend improvements.
  • Automated Systems: Possess operational skills and knowledge of the automated supply and service systems utilized, including the Army Food Management Information System (AFMIS) and the Subsistence Total Order Receipt Electronic System (STORES).
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct meetings, brief ongoing plans and operations, and problem-solve using related applicable regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, management, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of supervisory experience and comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions in supply subsistence management.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of supply and services, maintenance, and transportation operations, as well as Army governing regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and Common Access Card (CAC).
