Job Summary:

As a Welding Engineer at Bechtel Plant Machinery, you will be responsible for performing welding engineering evaluations, analysis, and making engineering decisions for various tasks. These tasks may involve designing, fabricating, installing, and refurbishing equipment.


Key Responsibilities:
Review and prepare welding and process instructions, standards, and specifications.
Develop and implement welding development programs.
Provide welding engineering oversight of supplier processing and fabrication procedures.
Analyze welding conditions and troubleshoot issues.
Assist with in-service inspections and evaluations.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, or Metallurgical Engineering from an accredited institution is required. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred. A security clearance is also required, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance is necessary.
