Key Responsibilities
  • Create a safe and engaging environment that fosters the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of club members during program participation.
  • Monitor and evaluate programs to promote and stimulate participation.
  • Assist in the recruitment and registration of new members and participate in the club orientation process.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality programs and activities that meet the diverse needs of members.
  • Provide guidance and role modeling behavior for club members.
  • Contribute to a productive work environment by maintaining satisfactory attendance and participating in team-oriented activities.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with youth ages 5-18 and basic knowledge of youth development principles.
  • Ability to motivate and engage youth, resolve conflicts, and manage behavior challenges.
  • Ability to deal with the general public and parents with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth.
Working Conditions

This position may require working on weekends and/or extended hours for special events and/or programs, as well as supporting other club locations within a reasonable geography.

Relationships

This role requires close daily contact with Club Staff, club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information, discuss issues, explain guidelines/instructions, instruct, and/or advise/counsel.

This role also requires contact with external community groups, schools, members' parents, and others to assist in developing positive relationships and resolving problems.
