- Provide comprehensive direction, coordination, and ongoing assessment of operations, ensuring detailed execution of all banquet event orders.
- Have experience in providing and managing Audio/Visual equipment as a profit center.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, particularly in Delphi, Word, and Excel.
- Monitor group room blocks and generate detailed resumes for operational departments.
- Collaborate with external vendors to guarantee client satisfaction for all events.
- Adhere to attendance policies and maintain regular availability for work.
- Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Previous experience in the hospitality sector, particularly in catering sales, is essential.
- A minimum of one year of experience within the hospitality industry is required.
- Experience in a hotel of similar size and quality is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi.
- Understanding of sales techniques, revenue management, and the ability to train and motivate colleagues.
- Familiarity with hotel features, benefits, and competitive landscape.
- Capability to implement effective action plans.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing strategies, safety protocols, personnel management, business planning, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance, hospitality law, and long-term planning.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adjust communication style to effectively engage various audiences.
