Manufacturing Engineer

Galaxy Technologies is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for designing and developing engineering data to support our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with shop supervisors, programmers, and planners to ensure efficient production planning and execution.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, including work instructions, inspection plans, and configuration management.
  • Design and develop 3D models for internal fixtures, assembly tooling, and packaging crates.
  • Coordinate technical review meetings with shop managers, programming, and planning teams for new products and engineering changes.
  • Assist with purchasing and estimating functions as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a similar technical field.
  • Minimum of five years of work experience in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 and AS9102 regulations.
  • Familiarity with aerospace materials, specifications, machining, assembly practices, and quality requirements.
  • Experience with CATIA V5 is preferred.
