About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical First Assistant to join our team. As a Surgical First Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with surgical team members to coordinate patient care and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Anticipate and provide equipment and supplies to support surgical procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to aseptic practices to prevent infection and promote patient safety.
  • Assist with patient positioning and movement to ensure safe and comfortable care.
  • Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and patients.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a First Assistant or scrub tech.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
