We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, a AAA Four Diamond resort in Whitefish, Montana. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to specified recipes and standards, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food sanitation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Stock and set up kitchen stations
- Prepare food items, including cleaning and cutting ingredients, cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
- Plate prepared foods according to senior chefs' guidance
- Work with servers to ensure orders are completed according to request and on time
- Maintain equipment in excellent working condition through personal inspection and preventative maintenance programs
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen and cooking equipment at the end of work shifts
- Knowledge of food and beverage, local and state food handling laws and procedures
- Organized and detail-oriented with a strong team player mindset
- Ability to build strong relationships and work with a team of culinary professionals
- Strong communication skills with the ability to foster cooperation
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a restaurant or related field
