Kitchen Manager

Gecko Hospitality is seeking a seasoned Culinary Professional to lead our kitchen team as a Kitchen Manager. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety, while driving sales and guest traffic.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain food quality and safety standards, overseeing all phases of food production and service.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, storage, and rotation to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement recipes, menu planning, and plate presentation to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and train a high-performing kitchen team, ensuring compliance with Health Department guidelines and company policies.
  • Manage kitchen finances, including food costs, labor costs, and kitchen supplies.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of high-volume kitchen management experience.
  • Proven track record of creating a safe work environment, promoting teamwork, and professional development.
  • Success in controlling costs associated with running a profitable business.
  • Ability to drive sales and guest traffic.
  • Basic math calculations and fundamental accounting principles.
