Project Manager

The Barricade Company LLC. is a dynamic and rapidly growing enterprise specializing in Traffic Control set-ups and Flagging. We foster a collaborative environment where each team member plays a crucial role in our continued success.

As our Project Manager at The Barricade Company's Phoenix Division, you will be a vital leader within our dynamic team. In this fast-paced environment, you will oversee project coordination and ensure seamless operations. Your responsibilities will include mentoring and supervising Project Coordinators, Dispatch Operations, and Plan Drafting Operations.

Key duties will involve managing bid proposals, processing traffic plan requests, and overseeing the permit process to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You will collaborate closely with senior management to achieve organizational goals while building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, proudly representing The Barricade Company brand.

We are committed to your professional growth and will assist you in obtaining certifications such as ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor and OSHA 30. Additionally, you will benefit from four months of comprehensive training at our Las Vegas location, with all expenses paid, including housing and travel.

Responsibilities:
  • Leading and mentoring a team of 6 direct reports that will include Project Coordinators, Dispatch Operations, and Plan Drafting Operations.
  • Managing bid proposals, traffic plan requests, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
  • Overseeing permit processes with governing entities and maintaining compliance.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs effectively.
  • Developing pricing strategies and ensuring the profitability of projects.
  • Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with senior management to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager in traffic management industry.
  • Expert level knowledge in planning of traffic control plans in Phoenix and surrounding jurisdictions.
  • A dynamic leader with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient with data entry and familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to type 55 WPM or more.
  • Experience in managing teams, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Skilled at problem solving practical problems and thinking on your feet in dynamic situations.
  • Motivated by the impact of your work on community safety and eager to drive growth within the traffic management industry.
