**Job Description**

Construction sites require thorough preparation before any work can begin. As a Construction Site Preparation Specialist in the Army National Guard, you'll play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations. Your primary responsibility will be to operate heavy equipment like bulldozers and road graders to clear the site of obstacles. This includes leveling earth for runways and roadbeds, clearing, excavating, and digging areas of construction sites, spreading fill material, transporting heavy construction equipment with a tractor-trailer, moving heavy building materials with cranes, and assisting in performance of combat engineer missions.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Analyze information on grade stakes and place them accurately
* Cut and spread fill material with a scraper

**Acquired Skills**

Through your training, you will develop skills in equipment maintenance and repair, identification of soil types, and placement of grade stakes. You'll also learn to work effectively outdoors and develop a strong understanding of construction methods and engineering principles.
