Job Title: Community Services Manager

Job Summary:

Rise Community Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our onsite day programs and offsite community integration services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, coordinating service delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving program initiatives that promote independence, social skills, and community involvement.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Program Management:
    • Onsite (Day Program):
      • Oversee daily operations of the day program, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for participants.
      • Implement activity plans that promote life skills, social engagement, and personal growth.
      • Coordinate with healthcare providers, therapists, and behavioral specialists to ensure comprehensive support for each participant.
      • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations concerning day program services for individuals with IDD.
    • Offsite (Community Integration):
      • Manage community integration initiatives that allow individuals to participate in social, recreational, and employment opportunities in the community.
      • Develop partnerships with local businesses, volunteer organizations, and other community resources to create meaningful integration opportunities.
      • Facilitate transportation and ensure safety protocols for offsite activities.
    • Staff Management:
      • Supervise and provide leadership to direct care professionals.
      • Recruit, train, and mentor staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills to deliver high-quality services.
      • Conduct regular staff meetings, provide performance feedback, and develop and manage schedules to ensure adequate staffing coverage.
    • Individual Support:
      • Conduct assessments and develop strategies that support individualized goals outlined in the Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
      • Monitor progress toward achieving goals, adjusting plans as necessary in collaboration with participants, families, and support teams.
      • Act as a point of contact for families and caregivers, providing regular updates on participant progress and addressing concerns or issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with individuals with IDD, including program management and staff supervision.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing day programs and community services for individuals with IDD is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check and any subsequent background check after employment.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and will be subject to random drug and alcohol checks thereafter.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to obtain a Missouri Class E chauffeur's license within 14 days of hire.
