Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician for 2nd and 3rd shifts, responsible for conducting quality assessments on production processes and addressing any deviations from established quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures and specifications.
  • Monitor production processes, identify, and rectify non-compliance with quality standards. Participate in investigations related to incoming materials, final products, customer complaints, and vendor issues.
  • Issue necessary batch documentation, including data record sheets and labels, to production teams at startup.
  • Verify line clearance before production begins.
  • Maintain the calibration system to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct cleanroom testing as required.
  • Perform incoming and final inspections when necessary.
  • Manage all quality documentation effectively.
  • Support quality investigations and validations, including product measurements for experiments and trials.
  • Facilitate training for production operators to ensure understanding of relevant specifications and procedures.
  • Verify the training completion for operators.
  • Collaborate with chargehands to generate quality reports for any non-conforming product issues that arise during shifts.
  • Assist in resolving quality-related challenges during shifts in coordination with shift chargehands, ensuring proper documentation of issues.
  • Maintain Product Specification Manuals, drawings, and related paperwork within the Quality System to keep them current.
  • Ensure all pertinent quality documentation is accessible to production in a clear and organized manner.
  • Oversee and monitor suppliers, managing non-conformance reports and ensuring that any quality issues with supplied products are addressed through a closed-loop system.
  • Conduct cleanroom testing as necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Background in Quality Assurance roles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail regarding product specifications and documentation maintenance.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • Solution-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product defects to production and quality teams.
