We are seeking a talented and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Strategic Sales Director. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new sales opportunities, providing product solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company.

The Role

The Strategic Sales Director will be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to gain strategic positioning with decision makers, attain additional business, and retain existing revenue.
  • Identifying, bidding on, negotiating, and closing new sales opportunities to meet and exceed established sales and revenue quotas.
  • Providing comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of the company's entire product suite and providing accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnels of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.
  • Providing input to sales management about trends and changes taking place within the customer's organization, and making recommendations about future courses of action necessary for the company to improve its position with the customer.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 7+ years of industry sales experience.
  • Minimum skills required to perform in this role.
  • Experience with preferred products and services.
  • Strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills, as well as proficiency in selling to the close.
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction.
  • Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to conduct sales activities outside of the office, with at least 50% of time spent in the field.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

The salary range for this position is $107,500 - $143,330, based on national data. This range may vary based on location, experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
