Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of potential adopters and match them with pets most suited for their lifestyle and preferences.
  • Provide education on pet care, behavior, and medical history to adopters.
  • Ensure a seamless adoption process, from initial inquiry to post-adoption follow-up.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve adoption goals and promote animal welfare.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of animal behavior, body language, and handling techniques.
Requirements
  • Bilingual English/Spanish language proficiency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in customer service or animal welfare preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
