Position: Eligibility Interviewer
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with individuals and families via phone in a call center setting.
  • Participate in paid training sessions to acquire practical skills.
  • Deliver outstanding customer support to those seeking assistance.
  • Conduct interviews to assess eligibility for various support programs.
  • Facilitate application and interview processes while communicating with clients over the phone.
  • Maintain compliance with agency standards in a dynamic call center environment.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Understanding of customer service principles.
  • Proficiency in computer navigation and software tools.
Essential Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Empathy, patience, and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to efficiently operate multiple computer systems and manage tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Competencies:
  • Assess situations and make informed decisions.
  • Work autonomously and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Clearly articulate eligibility criteria to a diverse range of applicants.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience in eligibility assessments or customer service roles.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Pre-Employment Conditions:
  • Successful completion of background and reference checks.
  • Completion of the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program.
