Key Responsibilities

The Rehabilitation Department plays a vital role in the treatment and recovery of patients with diverse medical conditions. Our team of specialists is integral to a multidisciplinary approach aimed at achieving the best possible results for our patients. We emphasize collaboration and communication among healthcare professionals.

Expectations:
  • The Rehabilitation Specialist is responsible for assessing patients to develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on physician referrals. This includes coordinating with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care and effective discharge planning.
  • Educating patients and their families on home exercise programs and functional activities is a crucial part of the role.
  • Assisting in the management of patient programs while delivering high-quality therapy services.
  • Contributing to the professional development of staff by sharing knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
  • Completion of an internship or clinical rotation in a relevant setting.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Current professional license in the state of practice.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support from an accredited organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of progressive clinical experience in patient care.
  • Advanced degrees in relevant clinical fields.
  • Experience with electronic health records.
  • Specialized knowledge in areas such as aquatic therapy, lymphedema management, orthopedics, and neurological rehabilitation is highly desirable.
