Job Summary

Olsson is seeking a skilled Drafting Technician to join our Water/Wastewater team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing engineering and design plans using advanced techniques and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with standard computer-aided design operations, including advanced plan production, plan sheet creation, and intermediate to advanced design principles.
  • Perform engineering support tasks such as gathering data, updating and maintaining computer files, preparing copies of drawings, and documenting design changes.
  • Depending on experience level, provide training or act as a mentor for less-experienced technicians, and/or attend client meetings.
  • May be required to work in all types of terrain and weather conditions and on project sites in various stages of construction.
Project Scope

Our diverse range of projects encompasses water/wastewater conveyance systems, including linear drafting and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D for pump stations, lift stations, sanitary sewer piping, water piping, water storage tanks, and water supply tanks. You may also be involved in water/wastewater treatment facility projects, utilizing Revit and other 3D modeling software.
