Job Summary:The IPS Employment Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the support and adherence to fidelity for assigned IPS sites and Employment Specialists. This role functions as a member of the leadership team, participating in planning, implementing, and leading assigned services. The supervisor will work closely with Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents, and the Executive Vice President to provide quality, personnel, and fiscal management support within their designated service delivery area.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and maintain an environment where all clients, referral sources, stakeholders, and personnel are treated with dignity and respect.
- Maintain necessary quality management practices to ensure all confidentiality, CARF, contractual, IPS Fidelity, and organization best practice standards are adhered to during provision of services.
- Act as a liaison between IPS and other departments to build caseloads.
- Provide individual supervision to employment specialists, including field mentoring and job development shadowing opportunities.
- Work with the VR office to coordinate services, requesting and attending monthly meetings as needed.
- Assist with annual Fidelity reviews and develop action plans.
- Lead or assist with putting together steering committee meetings for IPS sustainability.
- Attend mental health team meetings to help with integration of IPS.
- Participate in all department meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership.
A high school diploma or equivalent certificate is required. An associate or bachelor's degree in an applicable field, such as human resources or social services, from an accredited institution is preferred. Two or more years of experience in a leadership role providing employment, personnel, social services, or other applicable experience is preferred.
Supervisory Requirements:The IPS Supervisor may supervise Employment Specialists, Vocational Support Specialists, and others as assigned. The supervisor will communicate the strategic direction of the organization, encourage participation by all employees, and provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of services provided. They will take an active role in monitoring the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives, involving employees as appropriate to achieve goals. The supervisor will effectively communicate changes and newsworthy events within the department or company to all employees, handle difficult personnel situations directly, and champion change and manage the implementation of new ideas.
