Site Supervisor, Newborn Hearing Screen Specialist

About the Role

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Site Supervisor to join our team. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the administrative, staffing, and reporting tasks at our sites. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to ensure that all eligible babies at our sites are screened as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary trainer for your site, providing training to new employees and re-training to existing employees as needed.
  • Manage the process of onboarding and offboarding candidates, as well as scheduling to ensure shift coverage.
  • Manage and escalate employee-related issues, including time-off requests, policy and performance issues, retention management, and scheduling.
  • Update and reconcile all stats every month, for each site, and work with the Data Management team to resolve any questions or issues prior to relevant deadlines.
  • Execute all national clinical and operational programs for your sites.
  • Monitor and review all medical sponsor reports for timely submission by our physician sponsors and follow up as necessary.
  • Complete all necessary state and hospital reporting, serve as the primary point of contact for hospital questions and concerns, and escalate issues as necessary to the HS management team.
  • Ensure supplies and equipment at each site are ordered with the appropriate frequency and receive necessary support and maintenance.
  • Use discretion in determining the needed frequency for onsite visits at each site and provide hearing screen coverage in situations where there is no alternative coverage available.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager.
  • Prior experience with newborns and/or in a medical setting is preferred.
