Leading Innovation in Electronic Warfare
Northrop Grumman is a pioneering force in technological advancements, and we're seeking a skilled Software Engineering Manager 2 to join our Camarillo and Pt. Mugu offices. As a key member of our team, you'll oversee the development of software and systems for cutting-edge projects like the EA-18G Growler and Airborne Electronic Attack Mission Planning.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for managing a team of approximately 15 engineers, providing technical guidance, and ensuring the successful execution of multiple IPTs. Your expertise will drive innovation, process improvement, and strategic technology initiatives within our Functional E&S organization. You'll collaborate with teams across programs, both locally and remotely, to deliver exceptional results.

Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field, plus relevant experience in software development, leading or management roles, and a strong background in embedded real-time software development. Familiarity with C++, ADA, or similar languages, as well as system/software development processes, tools, and methods, is essential. U.S. citizenship and an Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance are required. Additional preferred qualifications include experience in the Defense/Aerospace industry, leadership roles, and familiarity with Agile Methodologies and Open Architecture Standards.
