Job Overview:

Northrop Grumman is a leading provider of mission-enabling solutions for global security. We are seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare Systems Manager to join our team in Camarillo, California.

About the Role:

This position will support software and systems engineers developing systems for electronic warfare applications, including embedded real-time software development, system design, and development. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, leadership, and management experience in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional management of approximately 15 engineers (systems and software)
  • Program assignment related to electronic warfare (mission planning, software development, requirements)
  • Support multiple IPTs and collaborate with other teams across the program
  • Conduct performance assessments, staffing plans, employee development, communication meetings, disciplinary actions, compensation adjustments, training & educational oversight, and other routine personnel issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field) plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in software development applications, including leading or management experience in a team environment
  • Masters Degree in STEM (Computer Science/Engineering or related technical field) plus a minimum of 6 years of experience in software development applications, including leading or management experience in a team environment
  • Experience in the full life cycle for embedded real-time software development
  • Familiarity with real-time embedded software system design and development
  • Software Development experience with C++, ADA, or similar languages
  • Familiarity with System/Software Development processes, tools, and methods
  • U.S citizen
  • Must have an Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
