Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Camarillo, California. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and building automation features with a focus on user experience and performance.

The Role

This 6-month temporary US remote opportunity requires passion for problem-solving, high-quality software, and engineering principles. You will be responsible for coding in C#/JavaScript and SQL, following established procedures and best practices. Providing guidance to junior team members as needed is also a critical aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build automation features with a focus on user experience and performance.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Analyze requirements, code following team standards, conduct code reviews, write, and test SQL, C#/JavaScript or Kotlin/Java components.
  • Integrate components in Azure DevOps.
  • Perform unit testing to confirm code is working properly.
  • Responsible for feature design within the application design process, making recommendations in partnership with the rest of the Software Engineer team.
  • Create and maintain scalable automation pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Ensure all results of testing and configurations are properly integrated into Azure DevOps.
  • Perform integration testing to ensure components are functioning properly as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates.
  • Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.
  • Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Handles various other duties as delegated by Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent education and work experience, required.
  • 3-5 years of experience required that includes the following:
  1. Kanban or SCRUM agile methodology.
  2. Building self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
  3. Building cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  4. Proficiency with C#/JavaScript or Kotlin/Java and SQL.

Salary and Benefits

$103,500 - $143,000 annual base salary.
