Optimize the quality of life for patients at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in the Rocky Mountain region. As an RN Lactation Consultant, you will play a vital role in expanding our patient care services to meet the needs of the whole person.

About the Job

This position is responsible for providing skilled patient care under the supervision of the lactation program. You will take brief patient histories, perform physical examinations, develop treatment plans, and explain them to patients. When needed, you will also perform other duties assigned by your supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license. BLS required at hire. NRP required within 90 days of hire. IBCLC certification required.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Prior experience in counseling breast-feeding women.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Adept at use of adult learning principles.
  • Clinical experience in the hospital setting as a lactation consultant preferred, will consider new IBCLC's with recent clinical experience in Mom Baby or NICU. NICU background is preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated hourly wage for this position is $34.67 - $49.59 per hour.
