Job Overview

Adroit Partners, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Billing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations, you will be responsible for generating client invoices, auditing billing packets, and maintaining accurate filing records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate client invoices on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
  • Audit billing packets from our cost department for accuracy against client contracts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Compile and upload supporting documentation to client websites, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Research and respond to client billing inquiries, providing clear and concise information to resolve any issues.
  • Contact clients to obtain special billing requirements, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Maintain accurate filing records, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access and retrieval of documents.
  • Provide any necessary documents requested by the accounting department, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
  • Manage collections and A/R aging, working closely with the accounting team to resolve any outstanding issues.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of billing and/or invoicing experience in the industrial field, with a strong understanding of commercial accounting principles.
  • Time and Material billing experience, with the ability to accurately calculate and apply billing rates.
  • Lump sum billing experience, with a strong understanding of contract terms and conditions.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Extremely organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Professional email etiquette, with good communication and grammar skills.
