Job Title: Regional Delivery Driver - Class A CDL

At Hy-Vee, we are committed to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality products reach our customers. As a Regional Delivery Driver - Class A CDL, you will play a critical role in achieving this goal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner to ensure prompt delivery of products to customers.
  • Complete paperwork and perform customer service at the store level.
  • Adhere to company policies and departmental guidelines, including electronic device requirements, visual general vehicle inspection, and fueling equipment.
  • Utilize electronic logging devices to meet hours of service requirements set by the Department of Transportation.
  • Perform all customer service duties at the customer location, including product placement, check-in, and return of product and paperwork.
  • Maintain food and groceries at proper temperature in accordance with food safety standards and to ensure food quality and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL A license with no DOT restrictions.
  • Excellent customer relations and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write in order to complete all paperwork accurately.
  • Work safely in all aspects of daily requirements in the truck and at the customer location, complying with all DOT regulations.
Working Conditions:

This position requires driving during overnight hours and is continually exposed to dust, noise, temperature extremes, dampness, vibrations, and equipment movement hazards.
